As a result of an operation carried out simultaneously in Belgium and France, 8 PKK/KCK members were detained. The crimes against these 8 people were announced as ‘preparing or financing terrorist acts, conspiracy to extort or attempt to extort money to finance a terrorist organization’.

Documents and technical materials were seized during the operation carried out by the Belgian Police at the studios of PKK/KCK’s Belgium-based Sterk TV and Medya Haber TV channels. Simultaneously, an operation was carried out in France against the Drancy Democratic Kurdish Community Center and the homes of its members, which are affiliated with the terrorist organization PKK/KCK.
