‘Halk TV’ confessions made me say ‘give up’! Quotations: Let’s look poorer…

Speaking to Enver Aysever, opposition journalist Ece Zereycan made striking statements about the times she worked at Halk TV.

When I started at Halk TV in 2013, we were working in terrible poverty. “We didn’t have proper microphones, the broadcast was dropping,” said Zereycan, adding, “When I started working at Halk TV for the second time, there were similar problems, but I observed that Şaban Sevinç and a few managers were incredibly enriched. “Everything had changed completely in 1.5 years,” he said.

Zereycan, who brought up the intrigues on Halk TV, said the following;

“Turkish people were supporting the channel by buying mugs with Ataturk’s picture so that Halk TV could broadcast freely. This process was never managed transparently. Hakan Aygün told me, ‘We cannot renew microphones or anything like that, let’s look poorer so they can buy more books.'”
