WALL – Actress Uraz Kaygılaroğlu made a statement about the traffic accident that occurred as a result of the minibus containing the theater actors hitting a truck in Amasya. Kaygılaroğlu, who shared on his social media account, gave information about the health status of Melis İşiten, Ceyhun Fersoy and Sergen Deveci.
Kaygılaroğlu said that he was in contact with his ex-wife Melis İşiten and that he was in good condition. Saying that Ceyhun Fersoy is also in good condition, Kaygılaroğlu stated that Sergen Deveci’s condition is serious. Kaygılaroğlu said, “We are in contact with Melis, we were very scared. For those who sent a message, Melis’s condition is good, but she is well… No life-threatening, nothing permanent. Ceyhun is well, of course, he also has minor wounds. Sergen’s condition is a little more serious, thank you so much for my information,” he said.
FAHRETTIN KOCA: THERE IS NO ONE IN SEVERE CONDITION
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca also shared on his social media account, giving information about the latest status of the players injured in the accident. Expressing that the injured were fine, Koca used the following expressions in his post:
“Last night, in the accident that occurred as a result of the collision of a minibus carrying theater artists with a truck in Amasya Merzifon, 3 people in the minibus lost their lives at the scene, 9 people were injured. 8 injured were taken to hospital by ambulances, 1 person did not need treatment. May God have mercy on him, I offer my condolences to his relatives and the art community. There is no one among our injured in a serious condition. On behalf of all of us, I wish them well.”
What happened?
After they staged the play “Basic Trouble” in Çorum, the minibus carrying the actors hit a truck moving towards Samsun. Özgür Karataş, director Tolga Güleryüz and Burak Topçu lost their lives in the accident. Actors Özgür Ayaz, Burak Gülçebi, Melis İşiten, Sergen Deveci, Uğur Şalvarcıoğlu, Ceyhun Fersoy and Filiz Özbek and driver Aykut Bektaş were injured.
In the statement made on the Theater Cooperative page, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleagues Burak Topçu, Özgür Karataş and Tolga Güleryüz in the traffic accident that took place in Merzifon, including the return of the minibus carrying the Theater Jest team. We offer our condolences and patience to their families, the entire theater community and their fans. We are following the health conditions of our colleagues Burak Gülçebi, Ceyhun Fersoy, Filiz Özbek, Melis Işiten, Özgür Ayaz, Sergen Deveci, Uğur Salvarcioğlu and minibus driver Aykut Bektaş, who were injured and hospitalized in the accident and wish them a speedy recovery.
