Riverdale of the series Jeffrey Augustine portraying the character Ryan Granthammurdered his 64-year-old mother, Barbara Waite, before he went to assassinate Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau.
The 24-year-old actress, who the court charged with first-degree murder, admitted to committing second-degree murder after being convicted of murdering her mother in 2020.
Canadian prosecutors say Grantham is also Prime Minister of Canada. Justin TrudeauHe also said he planned to kill her.
“I KILLED MY MOTHER”
“I shot him in the back of the head,” Grantham said while filming his mother’s body with his Go-Pro camera after the murder. He could know it was me in a few minutes.”
The Canadian actor, who used alcohol and drugs for hours after the murder, set out on the way to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau’s residence with three guns and 12 Molotov cocktails, as well as camping equipment.
Grantham, who returned after driving 200 km and surrendered to a police station, surrendered by telling a police officer at the police station that “I killed my mother”.
DIAGNOSIS OF ANXIETY AND CLINICAL DEPRESSION
Law enforcement in Vancoouver said Grantham has been in custody for the past two and a half years and has been participating in a mental health program since his arrest.
During the trial, his lawyers argued that he struggled with anxiety and clinical depression and expressed a desire to kill himself and harm others in the months leading up to his mother’s death.
Grantham will not be able to apply for parole during the first 14 years of his life sentence.
