WhatsApp iOS application got its new feature

WhatsApp, the world’s most popular instant messaging application, continues to bring new features that will be very useful to users.

After Android, WhatsApp also introduced passkey verification support for iOS.

Thanks to the new feature, users will no longer have to deal with single-use SMS passwords to verify their devices.

What is WhatsApp Passkey?

Thanks to the Passkey feature, logging into WhatsApp is done with Face ID, Touch ID or device password instead of a password.

This makes logging back into WhatsApp easier and safer.

Because users are not sent a one-time SMS or authentication code, which minimizes the risk of online attacks.

How to open WhatsApp Passkey

Open the WhatsApp app and tap Settings.

Under the Account section, tap Passkey.

Tap Create passkey.
