25-year-old Ferhat Satar, who participated in the Turkish Arm Wrestling Championship in Eskişehir, which is in the activity calendar of the Turkish University Sports Federation, as a SUBU athlete and came 1st in the 80 kilogram right arm category and 3rd in the 80 kilogram left arm category, at a place by the Sakarya River. He was found hanging from a tree.
Upon being informed of the situation, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. Medical teams arrived at the scene and sent Satar to the hospital after providing first aid.
The young man who was treated here could not be saved despite all the interventions and lost his life.
Police teams launched an investigation into the matter.

On the other hand, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) also published a condolence message regarding the death of Ferhat Satar.
In the post shared on the university’s social media account, “We lost our student and national athlete Ferhat Satar, who had many championships in arm wrestling. Rest in peace” statements were included.
