There were familiar names among those who watched the Adana Demirspor – Galatasaray match played in the 34th week of the Super League.
Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, National Team Coach Vincenzo Montella and Galatasaray’s Former Manager Abdurrahim Albayrak were in the stands.
Super League’s new team Eyüpspor’s President Murat Özkaya and Coach Arda Turan also followed the Adana Demirspor – Galatasaray match from the stands.
Murat Özkaya followed Galatasaray’s away match against Alanyaspor from the stands and a statement was made by Eyüpspor.
Eyüpspor Vice President Fatih Kulaksız made a statement on social media about President Murat Özkaya’s presence in the match.
FATIH KULAKSIZ MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS IN HIS STATEMENT:
“We came to Antalya for a 3-day holiday with our president, technical delegation and champion team. Our president Murat Özkaya also went to Alanya to watch the Alanyaspor-Galatasaray match played in the same city. He went there not to support Galatasaray, but as the President of Eyüpspor He went there to follow a Super League match closely.
Our president has never hidden from the public that he is also a Galatasaray fan. In addition, we express at every opportunity that our Eyüpspor should stay out of the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe competition, that if we get into the Super League, we will keep an equal distance from everyone, and that we will fight honorably and best against everyone. However, it has become annoying that an issue on which we have such an open and transparent stance has been so distorted.
