In the second match of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoff series, Panathinaikos beat Maccabi Tel Aviv, which it hosted at home, and brought the series to 1-1.

Panathinaikos coach Ergin Ataman made striking statements at the press conference held after the match. Coach Ataman said that someone from the Maccabi technical team threatened him.

Ergin Ataman’s flash statements on the subject are as follows:

“It’s really weird. A great organization (EuroLeague), which I have always tried to protect, is making a statement against me and saying that I am harming the league. It’s weird, if I did something wrong, punish me and move on. Why do you publish a statement against me and criticize someone? Are you provoking?
