UEFA announced the referees who will work in the 2024 European Football Championship, which will be hosted by Germany on June 14-July 14, and their earnings per match.

Our FIFA licensed referee, Halil Umut Meler, was among the 19 referees who will blow the whistle at EURO 2024.

The referees who will assist Halil Umut Meler in the tournament are Mustafa Emre Eyisoy and Kerem Ersoy. Alper Ulusoy was appointed as Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Earnings of referees who will serve

According to the statement made by UEFA, referees who will officiate EURO 2024 matches will earn 5 thousand euros per match in the group stages and 10 thousand euros per match in the knockout stages.

The assistant referees and fourth referees who will take part in the tournament will be paid 2,500 euros per match in the group stages and 5,000 euros per match in the elimination phase.

VAR referees who will blow the whistle at EURO 2024 will earn 3 thousand euros in the group stage and 5 thousand euros per match in the elimination stage.
