The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced the new assignments in the youth national teams with a statement on its official website.

After the departure of Tolunay Kafkas and his team, Levent Sürme was appointed as the coach of the Ümit National Team. Selçuk Erdoğan will be the assistant of Sürme.

The statement made by the Turkish Football Federation is as follows:

Our new generation and young Turkish coaches, who have experienced national team and club experiences in their careers, will contribute to the development of our national football players in the young age groups, have received training with the modern football curriculum, and have UEFA coaching licenses, will be assigned to the Turkish Football Federation within the framework of the project prepared to create the “Turkish Football School”. started.

According to this; Orhan Şam, Sabri Sarıoğlu, Selçuk Erdoğan, Uğur İnceman and Volkan Arslan Junior National Team Coach; Alkan Birlik became the Junior National Team Goalkeeper Coach.

In addition, Dolunay Saray, Youth National Team Athletic Performance Trainer, Ahmet Buğlar and Ege Mirza started to work as Junior National Team Analysis Trainer.

Within the framework of restructuring, Selman Coşkun, who has been working as a Regional Coach and Trainer Trainer in our Federation since 2009, became the Technical Coordinator of the Young National Teams; Emrah Karakovan was appointed as the Head of the National Teams Goalkeeper Department, Vural Durmuş was appointed as the Head of the National Teams Athletic Performance Department, and Okan Aydıner was appointed as the Head of the National Teams Analysis Department.

WHO IS LEVENT SURME?

Levent Sürme was born on March 30, 1983 in Turkey. The Sürme family moved to Germany when Levent was only 6 years old.

Levent Sürme started working in Augsburg at the age of 19, this time as a coach. The young coach, who started working at the club for 15 years, served as a ‘Chief Trainer’ in all categories from U-8 to A Team.

He worked with Chelsea for 3 years in Augsburg infrastructure with Thomas Tuchel, who won the Champions League, the most prestigious cup in the world, on a club basis.
