“36 thousand healthcare personnel will be employed”

The President’s decision regarding the employment of 36 thousand contracted healthcare personnel was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, to be implemented by the end of the year, the service units where contracted health personnel will be employed have been re-determined in order to carry out health services effectively and efficiently in places and service branches where it is difficult to recruit personnel.

In accordance with the decision, 1 dietitian, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, 25 health officers, 1 health technician, 3 thousand 498 physicians and 32 thousand 464 specialist physicians will be employed.

Of the personnel to be employed, 1 will work in emergency health services, 7 will work in district health directorates / community health centers, 8 will work in health homes, and 35 thousand 984 will work in inpatient treatment units.
