AEK and Panathinaikos faced each other in the 7th week match of the Greek Super League Championship Round. Panathinaikos, coached by Fatih Terim, lost 3-0 away to its opponent in the leadership match.
AEK’s goals were scored by Niclas Eliasson in the 7th and 69th minutes and Ezequiel Ponce in the 38th minute.

Fatih Terim’s Panathinaikos fell 4 points behind the leader AEK after losing the match in which they would have been the leader had they won. AEK increased its points to 75 with 3 weeks left, while Panathinaikos remained in second place with 71 points.
BIG MISTAKE FROM SAMET!
Samet Akaydin, who went to Panathinaikos on loan from Fenerbahçe during the interim transfer period, made a big mistake in the AEK match in which he played in the first 11.
