German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier came to Turkey yesterday as part of his three-day official visit on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Turkey-Germany Friendship Treaty.
Steinmeier, who visited an exhibition about the migration of Turks to Germany at Sirkeci Train Station during the day, invited names from the business world, journalists, politicians and sports world at the historical summer residence of the German Embassy in Tarabya, after the Bosphorus tour.

At the event, Turkey’s famous ney player Burcu Karadağ gave a short ney concert for Steinmeier and the guests.
Karadağ, who shared his photos with Steinmeier, İmamoğlu and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy on his Instagram account, said that he told Steinmeier about the visa problem between Turkey and Germany.
