The number of suspects detained in the ‘Iron Fist’ operation carried out in 19 provinces based in ANKARA rose to 315. The statements of the suspects, who were given an 8-day detention period, continue to be taken. The private jet belonging to Erol Pet, which was decided to be seized as part of the operation, was also brought to Turkey. Ankara Financial Crimes Fighting teams had determined that the 300 million lira worth of jet had flown to Paris, the capital of France, the day before the operation. The jet was brought from Paris and towed to a hangar at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul.
DETENTION ON BOAT
On the other hand, during the searches made at the addresses, it was determined that one of the suspects, Serdar T., was on a boat in Fethiye. The teams searched approximately 150 boats in Göcek bays. Serdar T. was found on one of those boats, detained and brought to Ankara.

IN A SINGLE CELL
Erol Pet, who was involved in many crimes such as instigating murder and money laundering in the 1990s, was detained again on similar charges 22 years later. Pet was kept in a solitary cell until his statement was taken.
