Seyfettin EKEN/ DIYARBAKIR, (DHA)- Current President Felat Bozarslan was unanimously re-elected as president in the ordinary general assembly held in the SOUTHEAST Journalists Association (GGC) with a single list.
Many journalists from Diyarbakır and the region attended the ordinary general assembly held at GGC’s Sümerpark Campus. At the congress, which was held with a single list, current President Felat Bozarslan was unanimously re-elected as president. The newly elected board of directors consisted of 4 female and 4 male members. GGC President Felat Bozarslan said that in the new period, he will continue to work to protect the rights of journalists in the region, defend freedom of the press and practice the journalism profession in better conditions. Bozarslan stated that the new management of the association will strive to contribute to the development of the region’s press and communication sector and that GGC will continue to stand by journalists in order to contribute to the social, economic and cultural development of the region by accelerating its work to make the press in the region a stronger and more effective voice.
