The 7th Regional Final of the Young Orators Pulpit Sermon Reading Competition, organized by the General Directorate of Religious Education, was held in Aksaray.
Students from Konya, Antalya, Burdur, Afyonkarahisar, Isparta and Aksaray participated in the regional finals hosted by Aksaray Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Proje Anatolian Imam Hatip High School.
Among the students who stood on the pulpit at the Ulu Mosque and delivered the sermon, Antalya Kumluca Anatolian Imam Hatip High School student Ömer Faruk Böcü came first, Afyonkarahisar Central Anatolian Imam Hatip High School student Abdullah Sarıtaş came second, and Konya Ereğli Martyr Nurullah Seçen Anatolian Imam Hatip High School student Mustafa Yücel came third.
The program ended after the winners were given their awards.
