Transportation network is expanding with road renovation works in Melikgazi

Melikgazi Municipality started road widening and renovation works on Şehit Osman Yılmaz Street, which connects Danişmentgazi District and Becen District, in order to provide comfortable and safe roads to the district.

Stating that they are working hard to ensure that citizens travel on safer, more comfortable roads, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “We are rapidly continuing our work to make transportation easier, more comfortable and safer in our district. We carry out road construction, renewal and expansion works in many neighborhoods of Melikgazi in line with the needs. “Our colleagues work with great effort to ensure the safety of our citizens and comfort in transportation,” he said.

“With the increase in population, the need for new roads increased”

Stating that they took rapid action to solve the infrastructure and superstructure problems in our changing and developing Melikgazi, Mayor Palancıoğlu continued his words as follows:

“We produce alternative solutions for new settlements and areas where the population is concentrated. There was a population increase in Becen Neighborhood, especially after the earthquake, as our citizens turned to detached houses. With the increase in the number of vehicles due to the population, the need for new roads arose. As Melikgazi Municipality, we started the road widening and renewal work, which is more than 1 kilometer long and 15 meters wide, on Şehit Osman Yılmaz Street, which connects Danişmentgazi District and Becen District. Hopefully, our teams will complete the work in a short time and we will put our new road into service. In our district, where we have strengthened the transportation infrastructure, we will continue our qualified and comprehensive work that will make our citizens happy. “May our road renewal and expansion work be beneficial and auspicious for our citizens.”
