CHP Chairman Özgür Özel said that they will make the Türkiye Alliance the government.
Özel, who visited Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candan Yüceer in her office, said in his speech there that they will continue to give importance to women, youth and social policies in the new era of politics.
Explaining the “purple flag” application that they will implement shortly, Özel said:
“In the coming period, Turkey will talk about the ‘purple flag’ application of CHP municipalities. First, we will send a purple flag to our municipalities that create enough women’s employment, achieve the targets, build enough nurseries for women to participate in working life, remove the obstacles to their participation in social life, and take all measures for women.” We will give a flag.
They will also give purple flags to workplaces that increase women’s employment, make women’s lives easier and meet standards in the places they work, in the institutions, tradesmen, restaurants and workplaces that are subject to their control. We will say, ‘You see, there is respect for women and women’s labor here, there is employment for women, if you shop here, you will support women.’ “This will be a very important move from local governments for Turkey to meet certain standards.”
Stating that they will continue to give importance to women and youth as a party, Özel stated that he believes that they will provide very important services with female mayors.
Reminding that CHP mayors hang their property declarations on municipal buildings, Özel said, “This is the commitment of clean municipalism and clean local governments with high self-confidence. These are very valuable.” said.

Arguing that their party’s success in the local elections will pave the way for power in the general elections, Özel said that transparent and fair management will lead their party to power.
Explaining that the success of their party in general is not only his own, Özel said, “We will not make any of our citizens who voted for us regret it. We will make the Turkey Alliance come to power with them. When the Turkey Alliance comes to power, not only the supporters but all citizens will be happy.” he said.
