“Artificial Intelligence and Its Reflections on the Business World” seminar was held in Konya

The “Artificial Intelligence and Its Reflections on the Business World” information seminar, organized in cooperation with Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO), Konya Representation of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers and Development-Oriented Strategic Research Center (KOSAM), was held at the Konya Chamber of Commerce Conference Hall. Speaking at the opening of the seminar, KTO Vice President Lütfi Can Başaran stated at the beginning of his words that they prepared his speech using artificial intelligence technology. Başaran said, “Technologies such as the internet and smartphones in our business life have accelerated digital transformation and changed the way we do business. However, artificial intelligence represents the next bigger step that takes this digital transformation even further, making a revolution, so to speak. We must especially state that we must correct the misperception that artificial intelligence will take away our industries and jobs. This misperception ignores the fact that developing artificial intelligence technology actually brings with it many opportunities. This innovative technology will lead to radical changes in the business world and open new horizons in the fields of efficiency, effectiveness and innovation. Businesses that use this technology better will gain competitive advantage and achieve sustainable success. Nowadays, we no longer have the option of monitoring technological developments and transformations remotely. We see that this has become a necessity, with the awareness that it will be impossible for companies that cannot keep up with the transformation to continue their activities. I state it very clearly; Any system that is not integrated with artificial intelligence will definitely lose on this path. Therefore, we must not only follow artificial intelligence technology, but also be the pioneer of this transformation. As Konya Chamber of Commerce and KOSAM, we will organize a series of events in order to raise awareness in our Konya companies and to guide our workforce regarding the new business and areas of expertise that artificial intelligence will bring. As representatives of the business world, we are aware of the change and innovation in our age. We care about the place of Konya and our country in the journey of artificial intelligence and technological innovation. I believe that by combining Konya’s cultural heritage and innovative spirit, we can start a new era in the business world with artificial intelligence, and I hope you will all be with us on this journey. “I hope this seminar will bring new ideas and inspiration to all of us,” he said.

Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) Konya Representative Özkan Keskin said, “With the seminar we organized today, we are making a start in Konya on artificial intelligence. Konya is a city that holds an important place in our country in industry and agriculture. It is important to pioneer the use of artificial intelligence in our industries. “I would like to thank Konya Chamber of Commerce and KOSAM for the program they organized in cooperation with our Provincial Representation in order to raise awareness about artificial intelligence,” he said.

The panel, which started after the opening speeches, was moderated by Konya Chamber of Commerce Board Member İsmail Hakkı Karaca. In the panel, Gazi University Artificial Intelligence Center Director Prof. Dr. Şeref SAĞIROĞLU “The Effects of Productive Artificial Intelligence on the Business World”, Anadolu Agency Technology and Innovation Director Yakup Şıvka “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Media” and DeepZeka General Manager Dr. Lecturer Member Saadin Oyucu made a presentation on “New Horizons in Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship”.
