According to the statements made today by EGO General Directorate in Ankara, the cable car system, which provides public transportation services between Yenimahalle and Şentepe, was closed indefinitely as a result of the lawsuit filed by the Chamber of Architects in 2013.

EGO EXPLAINED

In the statement made by the General Directorate, the following statements were made:

“The lawsuit filed by the Chamber of Architects against Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in 2013 has been concluded, and since the court decided to ‘cancel the zoning plan’, our cable car operation has been closed indefinitely until a new regulation is made. “In order to prevent our citizens from suffering, our transportation service will continue with additional bus services on line 271 on the same route.” said.
