Action was taken against 8 people who acted to prevent the arrest of the person who shot up the car dealership in Kozlu district and İ.Ķ., who was caught and arrested yesterday.

The statement made by Zonguldak Governorship on the subject is as follows: “As a result of the investigation carried out by our teams affiliated with the Public Security Branch Directorate to catch the perpetrator of the “Weapon Threat and Workplace Shooting” incident that took place in our Kozlu district on 14.04.2024;

The person who carried out the incident was İ. The person named K. (41) was caught and detained with the unlicensed gun he used in the incident on 24.04.2024.

During the research; YK (53), FA (36), BT (24), AA (29), EY (46), SA (34), H. Ö., who were found to be active in preventing the suspect from being caught. (39) and TY (47), a total of 8 suspects were prosecuted for the crime of favoritism in accordance with Article 283 of the Turkish Penal Code.
