Little ones mobilized against water waste – GENERAL – Erzurum Pusula Newspaper

Continuing its awareness activities in order to inform all segments of the society about the protection of water resources and water saving, ESKI General Directorate came together with the students of Sakıp Efendi Imam Hatip Secondary School and explained the importance of water. Stating that they started a mobilization against water waste in Erzurum, ESKI General Manager Remzi Ertek said that we should be more loyal to water, which constitutes the essence of life. Ertek said, “Water is one of the greatest blessings given to all living things to survive. Being aware of this blessing, standing against waste and protecting future generations should be one of our main duties. Our country is among the countries experiencing water stress, and the stress level is increasing day by day. As a society, we can make serious water savings by taking simple measures. As ESKİ, in order to raise water awareness, we host citizens from all walks of life in our drinking water treatment facilities and show them the long and difficult adventure of water. We go to schools and provide awareness training to our students. “We say to our citizens ‘Be a drop in the future’ by hanging our posters about the importance of water and saving in public institutions, hospitals and schools.” he said. Sakıp Efendi Imam Hatip Secondary School administrators thanked OLD General Director Remzi Ertek and the authorities after the training given to the students.
