The Primary School category of the Governor’s Cup 3rd Inter-School Folk Dance Competition, organized within the scope of the “One Voice Two Movements” Project, under the auspices of Şanlıurfa Governorship, in cooperation with Eyyübiye Municipality, Provincial Directorate of National Education and ŞURKAV, was completed today.

A total of 39 primary school folk dance teams from 13 districts participated in the competition and exhibited their dances.

TOKİ Battani Primary School, located in Karaköprü District of Şanlıurfa, came first in the folk dance competition among primary schools.

The first place winner is Araköprü TOKİ Battani Primary School, 10,000 TL. and was entitled to receive the Folk Dance Costume award.

THE GRADES AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOLS ARE AS FOLLOWS

Provincial Winner: Karaköprü TOKİ Battani Primary School (10,000 TL and Folk Dance Costume)

Provincial Second: Eyyübiye Dr. Cavit Özyeğin Primary School (8,000 TL.)

Provincial Third: Haliliye Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Karahan Primary School (6,000 TL.)

Mention: Karaköprü Narlı Primary School (4,000 TL.)

Mention: Haliliye Şehit Hasan Hüseyin Çalışkan Primary School (4,000 TL.)

Mention: Hilvan Şehit Halit Şıltak Primary School (4,000 TL.)
