In the statement, “During the checks, it was determined that there were 5 peacocks hidden in sacks in the bed of the truck. The sacks were opened to allow the peacocks to breathe and the Yüksekova Nature Conservation and National Parks Chief was notified. “The peacocks were delivered to the nature conservation personnel who were directed to the checkpoint, and an administrative fine was imposed on the driver of the vehicle.”
