A security guard working temporarily at a bank in Trabzon’s Yomra district shot himself in the head with a gun. Details of the suicide have been revealed.

CAME AS AN EARTHQUAKE SURVIVOR

It was learned that 40-year-old Serkan Demir, who came from Malatya and was an earthquake victim, was temporarily working as a security guard at a bank branch in Yomra.

According to the information obtained about the incident, Demir locked himself in a room of the bank and after leaving a note, he shot himself in the head and was seriously injured. Hearing the gunshots, the bank staff opened the door and found Demir covered in blood. Medical teams were quickly called to the scene and provided first aid and took the injured person to Kaşüstü Training and Research Hospital. Despite all the interventions made in the hospital, Demir lost his life.
