In Trabzon, Çaykara District Governor Gürdal Erbek met with the headman who took office after the 31 March Local Government General Elections.
District Gendarmerie Commander First Lieutenant Emre Can Narin, District Police Chief Commissioner Alparslan Albayrak and headmen of 32 neighborhoods attended the meeting held at the District Governorship Hall under the chairmanship of Erbek.
Stating that the institution of headman is extremely important, Erbek emphasized that headmen serve as a bridge between the citizens and the state.
Erbek wished the headmen success in their duties and added that they would continue to work together to serve the citizens.
On the other hand, District Governor Erbek also participated in the education and sports events held at Çaykara Youth Center.
