A car crashed under a truck in Kastamonu: 1 dead, 2 injured – Malatya Current

1 person died and 2 people were injured in the accident where a car crashed into a truck from behind in Kastamonu.
The accident occurred on Kuzeykent District Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard. According to the information obtained, the 37 LH 469 Fiat brand car, driven by Özkan Palabıyık (29), hit the truck with plate number 06 JUR 04, driven by RE, which was traveling in the same direction, from behind. Özkan Palabıyık, the driver of the car that went under the truck, and his wife Özge Palabıyık (29) and their 2-year-old child AP, who were passengers in the vehicle, were injured. The injured were taken to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital by the medical teams called to the scene. Özkan Palabıyık, who was under treatment, could not be saved and died. It was learned that Palabıyık’s wife and child also remain in serious health condition.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
