President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip ErdoganHe spoke at the 5th Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform. Erdoğan said, “We will continue to see our Hamas brothers, who defend their homeland against the invaders, as Palestine’s ‘Kuvayi Milliye’.”
Regarding the radar base in Kürecik, Erdoğan said, “The missiles launched by Iran against Israel on April 15 were detected early and stopped thanks to the radar base in Kürecik, Malatya.” He also responded to the allegations. Erdoğan said, “The radar center in Kürecik does not and cannot have any relationship, bond or contact with any state other than the security of our country and our alliance. Turkey will not allow such a thing anyway.”

Like every criminal whose crime is told to his face, the Israeli administration thinks it can silence us. They think they can cover up the murders with the press and lobbying power they have. No one should expect us to remain silent about genocide. We cannot be among those who slander Hamas as a terrorist organization just because Europe wants it so. We cannot label Palestinian resistance fighters as terrorists. We will continue to see Hamas as Palestine’s National Force. We will not refrain from expressing this on every platform. Nothing can justify the genocide that has been going on in Gaza for 203 days. You may or may not approve of what happened on October 7. This is your point of view. But you cannot justify killing babies, deliberately targeting mosques, churches and schools, and turning Gaza into a huge cemetery. A mentality that celebrates its child’s birthday by killing Gazans has no connection with humanity.

“We cut trade with Israel, we are cutting it”
We have cut off our relations with Israel, especially commercial ones, and we are cutting them off. I also underline this; Turkey is a country that has never committed genocide, never been a colonialist, or harmed innocent people in any period of its history of more than 2000 years. We opened our doors to everyone who was in trouble. We took care of both the Jews escaping from the Inquisition and the Jews escaping from the Nazis, O Netanyahu… We helped our brothers escaping from Syria. We sincerely strive to ensure peace, tranquility and prosperity prevail in our region.
“We were slandered during the election process”
Last month, local government elections were held in our country. We were subjected to great slander during the election process. While the price we paid while defending the Palestinian cause was obvious, some people tried to overshadow the strong support our country and nation gave to the Palestinian resistance. They carried out this dirty campaign because their ambitions got in the way of their reason and conscience. Unfortunately, many unreasonable, unconscionable and immoral claims have been brought to the agenda, even saying that they sent jet fuel to Israel. Is it possible for Tayyip Erdoğan and his friends to take such a step?
Kürecik allegations: Türkiye will not allow such a thing
Now we see that the same circles embrace similar lies about the radar base in Kürecik. They are trying to exploit this issue. Türkiye would not allow such a thing anyway. As a Muslim, first of all, lying is the thing that Allah hates the most. These slanders were fueled by the foreign press and used against our country. But if you don’t do this, you are an arrogant.
We do not accept the US decision on Palestine
It is both a great shame and a serious injustice for the Palestinian people not to have a full member state of the UN. The step taken in this direction in the Security Council last week was blocked by the US veto. With this decision, the USA also ignored the will of other Security Council member states. We do not accept this decision. The American administration does not contribute to the solution with the unconditional military and diplomatic support it provides to Israel. It causes the problem to get worse. Approving the 25 billion dollar military package to Israel is the clearest indication of this. Instead of repeating groundless accusations against Turkey based on the events of 1915, the American administration should look at Gaza and prevent Israel’s genocide attempts in Gaza. We reject the attitudes of Western countries that break our patience. In the Gaza crisis, we once again saw the domination of Zionism on a global scale, especially in America and European countries.
