KOCAELİ (AA) – The driver of the truck that overturned in Gebze district of Kocaeli was injured.
The truck loaded with a washing machine, with plate number 26 ACV 379, driven by Kamil G., driving on the D-100 southern side road in Cumhuriyet District, overturned on Fatih Sultan Mehmet Street due to the difference in elevation after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
The trophy part of the truck, whose trailer was on the side road, fell onto the street.
Upon the notice of the surrounding people, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The driver, who was slightly injured in the accident, was taken to a private hospital by ambulance.
While transportation in the region is controlled, work has been started to remove the truck from the road.
