Making a statement about the excavations that will start in July in the Arslantepe Mound, which is on the UNESCO list, AK Party Malatya Deputy İnanç Siraç Kara Ölmeztoprak said that the first excavations will be carried out by Prof. Dr. He started with Marcella Frangipane’s teacher, then continued with them, and then Frangipane’s student, Prof. Dr. Reminding that he continues with Francesca Balossi Restelli, Hacettepe University Faculty of Letters Archeology Department Lecturer Assoc. Prof. in the new period excavations. Dr. He stated that Halil Tekin was appointed as the excavation coordinator.

“The language of music is universal, and so is the language and texture of its history.”
Stating that the new period of excavations in the Arslantepe Mound will start on July 15, AK Party Malatya Deputy İnanç Siraç Kara Ölmeztoprak said, “Those who follow the work in the Arslantepe Mound will see that the excavations in the structure started with Prof. Dr. Marcella Frangipane’s teacher, and then she continued it.” They know that the excavations, which started on July 15 with Frangipane’s student Prof. Dr. Francesca Balossi Restelli, continue for several months and we have dialogues with our Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism about the exhibition areas of the data that reflect that texture. The more we can expand and the more of the data obtained can remain in Malatya and be visible, the more we will be able to expand on an international scale. This is very important for Malatya. At this point, I would like to particularly emphasize that the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, said: Being the coordinator minister, his sensitivity and knowledge of the details are also very important in terms of quickly meeting the submitted demands. I would also like to point out a new development. The work done by the Italian delegation in the Arslantepe Mound so far is really valuable, but in addition to these works, we have appointed another person as the head of the excavation team. The language of music is universal, and so is the language and texture of its history. Therefore, we have never made the distinction between foreign delegations and Turkish delegations, but it is an important issue in terms of easy dialogue and the ability of our universities’ academics to work one-on-one. Hacettepe University Faculty of Letters Archeology Department Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Halil Tekin was included in the Arslantepe Mound excavation team as coordinator. When we wanted to get information about Arslantepe Mound, Prof. Dr. Francesca Balossi Restelli and Assoc. Dr. “We will be able to establish a dialogue with our teacher Halil Tekin. May it be beneficial for both our academic world and Malatya,” he said.
