Uludağ also reminded that 136 price gouging inspectors were recently appointed by the Ministry of Commerce in Istanbul. Stating that the price gouging inspectors said, “The price increase in red meat also affected white meat,” Uludağ stated that citizens turned to white meat, and with the measures taken, the supply of white meat increased and believed in the prices.
