There were consecutive earthquakes in Tokat Sulusaray on April 18. Two of the largest were earthquakes of magnitude 4.7 and 5.6.

There was damage to mosques and houses in Buğdaylı village. An interesting sight emerged when the plaster of a mosque in the village fell off.

On “1313″ An arched stone door with the inscription was revealed. Governor Numan Hatipoğlu made a statement on the issue.

Hatipoğlu stated that a structure considered to be a gate was unearthed in Buğdaylı village with an inscription dated 1313.

Governori said that work continues in the region. Mayor Davut Kılıç said that the door was closed with stones and soil to prevent anyone from entering the mosque.

It was announced that it will be repaired and put into service within the Tokat Governorship.
