ANTALYA, (DHA) – ANTALYA State Opera and Ballet is staging Italian composer Giacomo Puccini’s immortal work ‘Tosca’ again on the evening of April 27.

The opera ‘Tosca’, which leaves a mark on the ears with its immortal music, will be staged at the Antalya State Opera and Ballet Opera Stage on Saturday, April 27 at 20.00. ‘Tosca’, one of the first works that comes to mind when it comes to dramatic opera, opens with the direction of Yiğit Günsoy and the baton of Italian Conductor Lorenzo Castriota. The decor and costume design of the opera, which takes place in Rome in the 1800s, belongs to Gülden Sayıl, and the lighting design belongs to Mustafa Eski.

The opera ‘Tosca’ tells the striking story of the talented opera singer Tosca and her painter lover Cavaradossi, in the grip of love, jealousy and betrayal. In the opera, Nurdan Küçükekmekçi played the role of ‘Tosca’, Göksay Yaran played the role of ‘Cavaradossi’, Umut Tarık Akça played the role of ‘Scarpia’, M. Yusuf Yıldız played the role of ‘Angelotti’, Taner Ölçen played the role of ‘Sagrestano’, Dağhan Ergün played the role of ‘Spoletta’, and ‘Sciarrone’ played the role. Toygarhan Atuner will portray it. The Chief Violinist of the piece, of which Mahir Seyrek is the Choir Conductor of Antalya State Opera and Ballet Choir, will be Fahrettin Arda. Sinem Ulusoy is the conductor of the Children’s Choir in the work.
