Metropolitan Municipality is Next to the Plane Trees in the Rural Area – Bodrum’s Leading News Center…

With the “Plane Trees in the Rural” project, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality provides services to elderly citizens living in rural areas, especially those who have difficulty in meeting their own household needs, by going to their homes to make their lives easier. Within the scope of the project, the teams support citizens in cleaning, repairs, stove installation and many other matters. Within the scope of the service, 12 thousand 728 services have been provided to 761 families so far, providing significant support to citizens.

Nurten Kaleli, who lives with her husband and son in Ortaköy District of Menteşe District, said that Metropolitan teams visit them at certain periods with the Rural Plane Tree service and stated that the visiting teams are members of their families. Nurten Kaleli; “I am 80 years old, I live with my wife and son. My wife had a stroke. I have no strength left either. From house cleaning to other works, Metropolitan teams are always with me. They wipe, sweep, clean the windows. When they say they are coming, I pour the tea, I want them to drink their tea and start their work. Because they also became a member of our family,” he said.

Deniz Çağlar, from the Metropolitan Municipality Rural Plane Trees team, said that they go to citizens’ homes and provide renovation, cleaning and many services according to their requests. Deniz Çağlar; “We serve our elderly citizens who cannot care for themselves with our Rural Plane Trees project. We meet your home cleaning, renovation and wood chopping needs. We also visit our aunt Nurten on a monthly basis and meet her needs. “With this service, we stand by them and receive their prayers.” Gülden Madran, another member of the Rural Çınarlar team, stated that they serve citizens with services such as general cleaning, cabinet, door, window cleaning and vacuuming, and that they feel like a member of the house they visit.
