The incident took place yesterday around 17:00 in Şeyh Hamit District. Allahattin Oruç, the driver of the public bus with plate number 68 HO 1164, and Abdurrahman Ç, one of the passengers. An argument broke out between them. As the argument escalated, Abdurrahman Ç. injured driver Oruç in his throat and arm with a knife. While driver Oruç was covered in blood, the attacker got off the bus and ran away. After other passengers informed the 112 Emergency Call Center, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. After the first aid, the injured Oruç was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. Oruç, who was under treatment, said, “My passenger attacked me. He asked me to go to a different neighborhood off the route. “When I refused, he stabbed me,” he said. It was learned that Oruç was discharged after his treatment.
