living in france Housnı Bedis (24) and Boudia Sami (26) entered Turkey from Kapıkule on their bicycles a week ago.

Reaching Tekirdağ, the cyclists rested for a while in the city center and then went to Istanbul.

Housni Bedis said that they set out to see Mecca.

Bedis stated that they had a little difficulty when they first started their journey. “The first 2 weeks were very difficult, but then it felt easy. People welcomed us warmly in the countries we went to. The people who welcomed us best were the people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey. There are very warm people there. Our journey to Turkey will last 3 weeks. Mecca is an important place for Muslims. “You have to go and see.” said.

Boudia Sami also stated that people in Turkey welcomed them very well.

Sami stated that it is very nice that everyone tries to help themselves. “We have no problems on the journey. Because people help us. We wanted to go there because Mecca is a valuable place for Muslims.” he said.

After their journey in Turkey, Bedis and Sami plan to fly to Jordan due to the war in Syria and then complete the remaining journey on their bicycles to perform the pilgrimage in Mecca.
