They were caught in the usury operation – PUBLIC ORDER – Erzurum Pusula Newspaper

In the investigation carried out regarding the crime of usury by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch of the Provincial Police Department under the coordination of the Elazığ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was revealed that the suspects lent money at high interest to citizens with poor economic conditions, reduced the price of post-dated checks by clearing them, and engaged in postal usury for individuals who could not pay their debts. Three suspected persons were caught and detained in a simultaneous operation. During the searches, many checks and bills, 2 POS devices, 1 unlicensed gun and 16 cartridges for the gun were seized.
The detained suspects were referred to the judicial authorities after their procedures were completed at the Police Department.
