Yasin and Arif Yaşar, who spent almost their entire lives together, have strived for their dream of becoming a pilot since childhood.

The brothers, who studied primary school, secondary school and high school in the same class, entered the Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Karatay University School of Applied Sciences Pilotage Department to realize their dreams.

The experiences of siblings with similar movements, smiles, facial expressions, heights, weights, hair and many other features make you smile.

The duo, who are often confused by their teachers and friends, always maintain their sweet competition even though they support each other in classes.

“Sharing the same cockpit is one of our biggest dreams”

Second grade student Yasin Yaşar told the AA correspondent that sharing the same dream and receiving the same education as his twin was a very different experience.

Stating that it is very rare for identical twins to share the same profession in piloting, Yaşar said, “There are different perspectives from those around us. We like this. We generally support each other in classes. We work together.” said.

Yaşar stated that they have never been separated until today and that they do not want to be separated in the sky, and said, “There is a sweet little competition between us. This sweet competition is what fires us up and increases our motivation. After completing our training, we want to work in the same airlines with my twin. Sharing the same cockpit is one of our biggest dreams. “I think the competition between us will continue there, too. I really want to be a captain pilot.” he said.

– “I would like to be the captain pilot when we share the same cockpit.”

Pointing out that people around them often confuse them, Yaşar continued as follows:

“Since we have been together all the time since primary school, we are used to people confusing us. Sometimes they call Arif ‘Yasin’ and sometimes they call me ‘Arif’. When we are not wearing overalls, they still confuse us, but whichever of us answers on behalf of the other. Just to be safe, we say both our names one after another. There are also people who call me. Sometimes they call me Arif so that the issue doesn’t get longer, and I answer like Arif because our answers are more or less the same.

Arif Yaşar, on the other hand, emphasized that sharing the same life with his twin is enjoyable and fun and said, “Having someone behind you who looks after you and supports you gives you confidence. We are progressing towards our goals very well. There is definitely a competition between us. When we share the same cockpit, I would like to be the captain pilot.” he said. (AA)
