New Renault Duster was physically introduced in Turkey for the first time in the world

ISTANBUL (AA) – MAİS General Manager Berk Çağdaş stated that they are happy to introduce the new Renault Duster and said, “Oyak’s investment of over 400 million euros together with Renault Group will benefit both Renault and Turkey with the new Renault Duster.” It will further strengthen ‘s international position.’ he said.

The introduction of the New Renault Duster was held for the first time in the world in Ümraniye, Istanbul, with an interesting launch scenario held in the forest with the motto ‘Turkey’s Duster, New Renault Duster’.

The new Renault Duster, which will be produced in Bursa Oyak Renault Automobile Factories and exported to various countries of the world, attracted great attention.

In his speech at the meeting, MAİS General Manager Çağdaş said, ‘With the Renault International Game Plan 2027, which we announced in Istanbul in December 2023 with the participation of Renault Brand CEO Fabrice Cambolive, Turkey will become an export center and Bursa Oyak Renault Automotive will be opened by 2027. We emphasized that 4 new Renault models, 3 of which will be SUVs, will be produced in its factories. Today, we are happy to introduce the new Renault Duster, which is one of the first and most important steps of this plan.’ he said.

Çağdaş stated that the new Renault Duster is a privileged model that takes the Duster experience to a new dimension and carries this new experience from Turkey to the world, and said, ‘OYAK’s investment of over 400 million euros, together with the Renault Group, will be realized with the new Renault Duster. It will further strengthen the international position of both Renault and Turkey.’ He made a statement.

Berk Çağdaş added that the price of the new Duster has not been determined yet and that the price will be announced at the second promotional meeting to be held in July.

Renault Group Turkey Chief Executive (CEO) Jan Ptacek stated that they are proud that the new Renault Duster will be produced at the Oyak Renault factory in Bursa and said:

-New Renault Duster will be on the roads in the summer of 2024

Renault International Markets Product Director Juan-Camilo Velez Martinez said: ‘Thanks to the CMF-B platform, the new Renault Duster will benefit from multi-energy powertrains and high-tech multimedia equipment. While the new Renault Duster offers modern and economical use with its 145 horsepower E-Tech full hybrid powertrain, it provides access to regular updates thanks to the connectivity of the openR 10.1” multimedia touch screen.’ He made a statement.

Offering a strong design with its front design and front grille bearing Renault’s signature, the new Renault Duster will hit the roads with two or four-wheel drive engine options that meet different requirements. The new Renault Duster, which will be produced at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories in Bursa, will be offered both to the Turkish market and exported to various parts of the world. The new Renault Duster, which will be available for pre-order at the end of May, will be on the roads in the summer of 2024.
