An operation was carried out on a business operating in the Abidinpaşa District of Mamak district, with the participation of the teams of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate. During the operation, 6,889 kilograms of kashar cheese, 1,575 kilograms of vegetable margarine and 257 kilograms of sausage, most of which were moldy, spoiled and did not have mandatory label information, were seized and destroyed.

12,500 fake labels prepared to be pasted on the products were also found in the business. It was determined that fake labels would be attached to products before they were put on the market. An investigation has been launched into the incident. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that more than 1 million 300 thousand inspections were carried out last year, and administrative fines were imposed on 18 thousand 948 businesses during these inspections, and emphasized that a strict inspection policy will be followed against those who endanger the health of citizens.
