Those who removed the photo frames showing Şeyh Edebali, Söğüt Cavalry Regiment, Atatürk and the old Bilecik, which were recently placed on a new staircase built by the municipality in Bilecik, have still not been found. Citizens asked Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl to shed light on this issue.
While the staircase work carried out by Bilecik Municipality on the steep road connecting Atatürk Boulevard and Haman Street was eye-catching, the photographs hung there were either removed or stolen overnight. While Atatürk’s speech in Balıkesir Zağnos Pasha Mosque was written and illuminated on a marble column at the entrance of this staircase, it was appreciated by the citizens, and 6 photo frames were hung on the wall on the right side along the staircase. These photographs were either removed or stolen by unidentified people recently. Reacting to the situation, citizens asked Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl to shed light on this issue.
