As a result of the operation carried out in Ankara’s Mamak district, fake food with a market value of 4 million Turkish Liras was seized. Within the scope of the efforts carried out by the Ankara Provincial Gendarmerie Command to prevent smuggling, an operation was carried out in the workplace where fake food is produced and sold in Mamak district.
As a result of the investigation carried out by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch Directorate teams, it was learned that a person named GK was producing and selling fake food at his workplace.
During the operation carried out by KOM Branch Directorate and Mamak District Gendarmerie Command teams on April 25, 12 thousand 230 kilograms of fake food with a market value of approximately 4 million Turkish Liras and 10 thousand labels belonging to various food companies were seized during the search of the suspect’s workplace.
The seized materials were confiscated by the gendarmerie teams and legal proceedings were initiated against the person named GK.
