200 kilograms of explosives and ammunition were seized in Bitlis

According to the statement made by the Governorship, “Martyr Gendarmerie Lieutenant Baki Koçak Operation” was carried out yesterday in the rural area of ​​Tatvan district, as a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams.

During the operation, rocket launcher ammunition hidden in the ground in the rocky area, 3 rocket launcher propellant cartridges, hand grenades, a remote cable-controlled improvised explosive device containing 200 kilograms of explosive material placed in 4 cans, 20 battery blocks and 15 meters of electrical cable were seized.

The seized explosives and materials were destroyed.
