Following the hunting bans, the fry fish production season has started at Adana Agriculture and Forestry Directorate Fisheries Production Station! The teams started milking the broodstock fish and milked eggs in the mini pools located in the hatchery section of the station. The fish prepared for milking the day before were milked to produce eggs.
Regarding the issue, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet Nuri Kökçüoğlu made a statement to journalists. In his statement, he noted that egg milking from fish has started. Stating that they carry out various activities to ensure the sustainable continuation of aquaculture, Kökçüoğlu noted that the station has an area of 67 thousand square meters.
Noting that there are soil and concrete pools at the station, Kökçüoğlu stated that finally, the baby carp fish will be produced and released into the inland waters of both Adana and neighboring provinces.
