The competition, which started at 09.00 next to ALKÜ Life Center, included in-car traffic accidents, motorcycle accidents, bus accidents, falls from a height, CBRN side cases, advanced life support, narrow space ( The competition, in which the students worked hard with time, speed, knowledge and correct intervention, was followed by the participants and the pioneers of the health sector. After the competition, which was evaluated by expert referees, the award ceremony was held at the ALKÜ Alev Alatlı Conference Hall. ALKÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Atf Bayramolu, deans, academicians and students attended the award ceremony.

“WE ARE READY AT ANY MOMENT”

Speaking at the post-competition award ceremony, Vice Rector Prof., who is also an Emergency Medicine Specialist. Dr. Atif Bayramolu emphasized that the number of paramedics in Turkey has increased rapidly in recent years and that cases are intervened immediately. Reminding that training for the paramedic profession was started in Turkey in 1993 with the initiative of 9 Eylül University, Prof. Dr. Atf Bayramolu said, “Today, the total number of stations of our 112 emergency health services under the Ministry of Health has reached 3,402 across the country, and the number of land ambulances used in provincial health services has reached 5,738. Paramedic; These are the employees who rush to help, regardless of whether they are mountains, stones, villages, lakes, streets, roads or houses, and who try to do their job in the best possible way with intelligence and enthusiasm. It always aims to do the best for the country, for the nation, for the flag and of course for you, all over our country. He continues to play without giving up and getting tired. The paramedic is happy to live with the sound of the siren, the overhead light, and the stress of the case. Our anonymous heroes are always ready to serve on-site, on time and with adequate equipment. Don’t be left behind, emergency health services are entrusted to paramedics. Turkey’s power in Emergency Health Services is indisputable. The dedication of the paramedics who share this power is admirable. He is proud of each of them, VIII. We express our gratitude to them on the occasion of the National Trauma Rally. “On this occasion, I wish success to you, our valuable students and all paramedics,” he said. At the award ceremony, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Alanya Municipality, Private Anatolia Hospital, Syedra Policlinic, competition organizing committee members and referees who contributed to the competition.

THEY STRUGGLED TO BE THE BEST

The students who competed in each of the 9 stages demonstrated their skills by putting them into practice. In the exciting competition, the teams showed a realistic struggle. The performances of the students in the breathless competition stages were evaluated by expert referees.

As a result of 9 stages, Mersin University students came 3rd in the High to Low Department among the universities that received trophies by placing first, second and third in the overall rating. (iha)
