Operation against Sarallar criminal organization! 24 detained, including the ringleader

Under the coordination of Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and General Directorate of Security KOM Presidency; As a result of the work carried out by the KOM Branch Directorate of Bursa Provincial Police Department, “Mahzen-32” operations were organized in Istanbul, Ankara, Trabzon, Sakarya, Yalova and Diyarbakır, centered in Bursa.

During the operations, the gang led by Hakkı Saral, the brother of Ümit Saral, one of the imprisoned ringleaders of the criminal organization known as “Sarallar”, was busted and 24 people, including the ringleader, were captured.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya commented on the development by saying, “We will not tolerate those who are arrogant in crime, those who disturb the peace of our people, organized crime organizations and gangs. We will destroy organized crime organizations of any size and bring them to justice.” he announced with his statements.

HIGH MONEY COLLECTION AT GUN FORCE, ARMED ATTACKS ON WORKPLACES

In the operations carried out, suspects who are members of the organized crime group; They collected large amounts of money from our citizens at gunpoint by carrying out forward vehicle buying and selling activities in Bursa center and İnegöl, they carried out armed attacks against people who did not accept to give money and their workplaces through the hitmen they brought to Bursa from outside the province, they came to Bursa from different provinces and carried out forward payment transactions. They identified the addresses of those who purchased vehicles and beat these people by depriving them of their freedom, they intervened in debt and debt issues that occurred between people due to the purchase and sale of vehicles, they gained unfair advantage by establishing so-called courts, they threatened people with death with a gun, they forcibly seized the workplaces and vehicles of those people, and they confiscated these goods. It was determined that the members of the organization gave the vehicles seized by force of arms and threats to the leader of the organization under the name of gifts, and that they carried out armed attacks against the security forces during their criminal activities.

During the operations, 24 suspects who were members of the organized crime group, including the ringleader, were caught. As a result of the operations, 15 unlicensed guns, many checks and promissory notes, and a large amount of cash were seized.

454 CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS WERE DISPUTED IN 10 MONTHS

In his post, Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya gave information about the operations against organized crime organizations and said, “In a 10-month period, we collapsed 454 organized crime organizations. We shared these criminal organizations with the public, name by name. We organized a total of 1,201 operations against organized crime organizations. 8,260.” “We caught suspects. 3,058 of them were arrested and judicial control orders were given for 1,740 of them.”
