DBB Co-Presidents started the cleaning campaign

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, together with their cleaning teams, started the cleaning campaign in Dörtyol, Bağlar district.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department teams started a cleaning campaign to clean 136 main arteries, squares, intercity bus terminals, district bus terminals, private and public hospitals’ emergency rooms and waiting areas in the city center. Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, Bağlar Municipality Co-Mayors Leyla Ayaz and Siraç Çelik, Yenişehir Municipality Co-Mayors Safiye Akdağ and Mehmet Ergün participated in the campaign that started in the Dörtyol District of Bağlar district. Co-Chairs, together with cleaning vehicles and cleaning personnel, washed the streets and sidewalks with sparkling water. Citizens showed great interest to the Co-Chairs during the work and supported them with applause.

Bucak: For a cleaner Diyarbakır

Making a statement about the campaign, DBB Co-President Serra Bucak stated that they started the cleaning work and campaign for 136 points of the city together with Bağlar, Yenişehir, Sur and Kayapınar municipalities, and said, “Today, we started the campaign with the Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors, Bağlar and Yenişehir Municipality Co-Mayors, our people and the cleaning service.” We deliver it from Bağlar Dörtyol together with our teams. In our work, our streets will be cleaned with a non-chemical washing method. From today, we will continue our campaign for a cleaner Diyarbakır and a cleaner Bağlar. To clean the city, let’s throw our garbage into containers and garbage bins and keep our city clean. “May we be on our way,” he said.

Streets were cleaned in Bağlar

Cleaning personnel, in teams, cleaned Nuket Coşkun, Fatih and Visual streets in Bağlar district by washing them with sparkling water throughout the night.
