BŞB Youth Sports Kickboxing team, under the management of Coach Emre Şahin, made history at the Interprovincial Kickboxing Championship hosted by Konya.

Approximately 14 athletes participated in the Interprovincial Kickboxing Championship held in Konya between 19-21 April 2024. Dadaş kick boxers, who went to Konya under the supervision of coach Emre Şahin and manager Ömer Tavur, managed to make a name for themselves.

They returned with 15 medals

Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Club participated in the championship, where a large number of athletes participated, with 19 athletes. Blue-white kickboxers, who went on the tatami under the management of coach Emre Şahin, made Dadaş proud by winning a total of 15 medals, including 10 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.

The greatest work of our success is our Honorary President Sekmen.

Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Kick Boxing Coach Emre Şahin said, “We completed the championship with outstanding success. We would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor and Honorary President Mehmet Sekmen, our biggest supporter in this process, our Club President Ahmet Dal, our Youth Sports Provincial Director Levent Çakmur, our Sports Services Manager Ahmet Çelebi, and our Kick Boxing Provincial Representative Metin Abuşoğlu. “I thank everyone who prayed,” he said.

Öztürk congratulated and praised

Konya Youth and Sports Provincial Director Birdal Öztürk, who congratulated the Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Club under the supervision of Coach Emre Şahin, together with Turkish Kickboxing Federation Central Anatolia Regional President Mehmet Güçlü, praised the Dadaş athletes.

Öztürk, who worked in Erzurum for 2.5 years, said, “While I was working in Erzurum, our kick boxers were very successful in the national and international arena. They continue their success. “I congratulate them,” he said.

Coach Emre Şahin also thanked former Erzurum GSİM Director Birdal Öztürk for his support and thoughts.
