The fire occurred in a factory located on Çankırı Boulevard in Güzelhisar District, Akyurt district of Ankara.
According to the information obtained, the flames in the plastic fire that broke out in a large area on the exterior of the factory grew and spread to the factory roof.
Upon the notice of the surrounding citizens, dozens of fire brigades were dispatched to the region.
FIRE WAS UNDER CONTROL
While the fire that broke out in a medical factory in Ankara was brought under control, medical teams responded to 12 people affected by the smoke. The factory damaged by the fire was viewed from the air.
A fire broke out for an unknown reason on the roof of a medical product factory located in Güzelhisar District of Akyurt district. Upon the notice of citizens who saw the smoke covering the sky, many fire brigade, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region. The fire, which was intervened by the fire brigade, was extinguished and taken under control after long efforts. The 12 people affected by the smoke were treated by medical teams and their general condition was reported to be good. An investigation has been launched regarding the fire.
“We saw flames spreading from the bottom floor”
Speaking about the incident, a worker said, “The fire broke out from the inside side. We saw flames spreading from the bottom floor towards the outside. The flames started to go upwards. We completely evacuated the factory. We tried to extinguish it with our friends. Then the fire crews came and intervened.”
