President Fuat Köse stated that they were elected to office with a historic difference on March 31: “We are in the same place now, regardless of what we said during our candidacy process, including the pre-selection process. We set out on this path to serve Giresun and the people of Giresun. With this honesty and this perspective, we rolled up our sleeves to serve Giresun, we work day and night without recognizing the concept of overtime. We will not run out of energy until our mission is completed. We know that a difficult situation awaits us and we were anticipating this situation. Giresunlu wanted to learn from us impatiently every day about the financial situation we encountered. Giresun Municipality, that is, the owner of the shop, is from Giresun. He has given us authority to work. We are obliged to do whatever the people of Giresun want. “We will announce the economic picture of our municipality.” said.

I FELT MALICIOUS INTENTION
“How much debt do the people of Giresun have? What happened to the money of the people of Giresun and where did it go? Giresunlu wants to know this. As long as they were in government, we, as council members, always asked. It was said that it was 300-400 Million TL, 500-600 Million TL etc. The institution does not have such seriousness. Again, we asked these questions in the parliament sent by the people of Giresun to defend their rights, and we received answers like this. After leaving office, they fell in love with duty. They announced the debt not while they were on duty, but after they finished their duties, even though they had no authority to do so. Giresun Mayor announces the debt of Giresun Municipality. So I explain; Giresun Municipality’s debt is 1,714,887,000.00 TL.
As before, I felt an ulterior motive. They said that Giresun people should see what they are doing. This book is not closed yet. We will close this book. We will give this account. No one should interfere in matters that are not their responsibility. I’m criticizing them, but they’re not that bad. In the previous period, Giresun Municipality became the champion in Turkey when analyzed according to population along with the amount of debt. Irresponsibly, no thought has been given to what will happen next, how the municipality will work, how workers will be paid, how water will be sent to these houses, how parks will be sent to gardens, how children will do sports, how the poor will be supported. Irresponsibly, what will happen next in this city was not mentioned. They neither fear God nor the people of Giresun.
We took away the institutions where they would implement this bad mentality. We did them a favor. They couldn’t find anything in this team during the selection process. The first priority of our team and our friends was merit. They said they cannot pay salaries to the staff. Will you be relieved or happy when I cannot pay salaries to our working friends? Aren’t my working friends from Giresun? But I also want to say that nothing is an excuse for us.”
WE CELEBRATED WITH ENTHUSIASM, WE WILL CONTINUE THE CELEBRATIONS
President Fuat Köse noted that they celebrated a very beautiful April 23 with songs and folk songs and said: “It was our first test, but our children never left us alone. The people of Giresun, who were longing to celebrate April 23, organized a magnificent organization together. We had a very enjoyable day. Thousands of children embraced me yesterday. These keep our energy high. In the coming period, we have May 19 Youth and Sports Day. It will be amazing too. We also have the International Aksu Festival. It too has lost its meaning for 5 years. We will make our festival magnificent. It will be a beautiful festival with participation from 7 countries, artists and play teams. We will promote Giresun in the best way possible. We will bring the artist Haluk Levent. It will be a great, exciting concert.
There is nothing that the people of Giresun cannot do together. First we will build trust. “God forbid we will achieve this again, just as the people of Giresun took off their jacket and put it on the truck during the February 6 earthquake, now we will achieve this together,” he said.

FESLI MENTALITY – CHECKS ARE FLYING IN THE AIR
“During the election process, they made a tender and bought food from a private restaurant for 6.5 million lira. The people who are invited to dinner in 20 days are the people who vote. People of Giresun do not vote by eating pasta. We pulled up to the square with the soup kitchen truck before we even got the certificate of registration. We, the municipal council members, received the food ration together with the devoted employees of our municipality. In the days after that, our sensitive citizens left us no work. For the 9-day iftar dinner, an organic table was set up with our students, workers and poor citizens, and even the cost of the meal was 0 TL to our municipality.
We will serve the people of Giresun. We have no concept of working hours and hours. We will not go to our workplace. We don’t care. Giresun is even more important than my family. We have very high energy, friends. We owe it to this city and this country. No matter how selfless we are, we cannot be the finger of those who put the sackcloth they took from their grandfather in Çanakkale on the bullet in that national struggle. We cannot be the help of those who lost their arms and legs for the country.
I thanked them for whatever they did that was helpful. For example, I thank you for the husband’s house truck. We look at it with this mentality. We do not look at whether this party belongs to that party. Whoever loves our country is the crown of honor.
We look at our machinery park, vehicles that are dilapidated and not working. 40-50 rental vehicles were operated. The annual rent for one of the vehicles buys the vehicle itself. Can there be a man who doesn’t know four things? Either they don’t know or they are into something else. We sent the rental cars and bought the vehicles of the vice presidents. We cut private secretary expenses. We started saving practices.
The municipality’s electricity bill for the last 4 months has not been paid, the invoice is 30,900,000.00 TL. The logic was that if we lose the election, those who come will be in a difficult situation and the electricity will be cut off.
If the pumps stop working and the water is cut off, will the fat in your heart melt? What kind of mentality is this? I would also like to say that no one can cut off Giresun Municipality’s electricity. Checks issued and open account debts are waiting in accounting. We pay as much as we can. A check of 184 Million TL was issued. Let’s pay your debt, vote for us, and the friends who come will suffer.
This is the most valuable place in Giresun. At best, this mentality would be the mentality of fezli. We will drill and investigate all of them one by one.
Some of their friends were fired when they took office. These friends went to court and came back. He said they should receive court salaries during that time. This remains in accounting as a 5 million debt item.

LIKE STEALING PROPERTY FROM A FIRE
“As if the goods were stolen from a fire, shopping was done here and there for the election investment with the fear of losing the election. The shopkeeper says he lost 300 kilos of meat. What will Giresun Municipality do with 300 kilos of meat?
The solution was purchased in March, the total price is 2 million 40 thousand TL. The tender says the amount is 60 thousand kilograms, but the delivered amount is 30 thousand kilograms, so half of it is not available. Approximately 1 million TL was lost just from the solution.
Also in March, 32 thousand gloves were purchased. The total price is 965 thousand TL. It seems that 32 thousand units have been received, but we only have 8 thousand units. In the past period, 4 thousand gloves were given to workers. 21 thousand gloves are missing.
A tender was held for the Directorate of Cemeteries on March 1, and food was purchased for 2 million TL to be used for a year. However, it is said that these foods are consumed in two months.
We cut all the money we spent in the election from the sustenance of our children and families. My election-related expense debts continue. We tried to shop separately from all advertisers and restaurateurs. This understanding will continue while we manage the municipality.
We will hang the debt list in our municipality’s service building for everyone to see. “We also added the phrase ‘TC’ to our municipality sign in our building.”
WE WILL DISCOUNT WATER, WE DID NOT PROMISE WORK
“We will bring our water discount promise to the agenda in the next parliament.
You will see more services than before in units such as Technical Works, Water and Canal, and Cleaning Works.
Everyone will support their city. We will pay our debts to this city. The money coming and the money going out are obvious. We will receive grants from metropolitan municipalities. We will receive support from those who love their city and country. I got a promise from a few of my friends that we will bring a work machine. We will honor whoever puts their hand under the stone. We will serve our city by creating new resources for our municipality. You will also see that I constantly give the message to all politicians that we should join hands for Giresun.
We did not promise anyone a job. If we hire workers, we plan to give priority to those who were unfairly dismissed from their jobs in the municipality.
We promised that we would not lay off anyone. We do as we promised. However, we will not stand behind personnel who do not work and do not comply with work discipline.”
